Veritext Legal Solutions Acquires U.S. Court Reporting Business from Epiq
March 21, 2019 – Livingston, New Jersey – Veritext Legal Solutions, the leader in deposition and litigation support solutions, and Epiq, a global leader in the legal services industry, announce Epiq has divested its U.S. court reporting business to Veritext.
Through this acquisition, Veritext will remain committed to Epiq court reporting clients and will continue to deliver the best service in the industry, including world-class data security, while providing additional opportunities for employees and independent contractors. Additionally, Epiq court reporting clients will now enjoy many new advanced technologies and solutions designed to streamline the deposition process as well as gain access to more than 60-plus brick-and-mortar Veritext locations across North America equipped with state-of-the-art deposition suites.
While it will be “business as usual” for the time being, changes resulting from the acquisition will be taking place in the coming months and will include Epiq U.S. court reporting employees moving to Veritext locations across the country and transitioning all Epiq U.S. court reporting activity to the Veritext Legal Solutions brand.
