Veritext’s Jeff Harper Elected to Board of Trustees for Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation

The Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation (AVLF) is the largest provider of pro bono legal services in Greater Atlanta. For over 35 years, AVLF has promoted access to justice by inspiring volunteer attorneys to provide high-quality education, advocacy, and representation at no charge to low-income families with basic civil legal needs at critical times in their lives. Programs include services for domestic violence survivors, landlord/tenant disputes, evictions, unpaid wages, and probate issues.

Each year, more than 25,000 potential clients contact AVLF for help, over 5,000 of whom receive legal advice or representation from the AVLF staff or from the 600+ volunteer attorneys from the Atlanta legal community.

Veritext’s very own Jeff Harper (Regional Vice President) has been recently been elected to the AVLF Board of Trustees. “As a board member, I plan to generate awareness in the Atlanta legal community regarding the importance of the work and contribution of the AVLF and assist in any way I can to help them succeed in their mission.”
