Exhibit Share Testimonials

I am a litigator with 40 years of experience who thought I knew everything there was to know about deposition taking.  But then I discovered Veritext’s Exhibit Share web product, which allows you to upload deposition exhibits to a web portal and avoid having to reproduce (and then carry to the deposition) massive paper copies for the 30 some defendants and cross-defendants in any single deposition.

I work with large technical documents with charts, figures, and endless tables that are difficult to copy and would otherwise consume extra costs to clients because of the need to assign clerks and paralegals to full-time copy machine work before the deposition.

Exhibit Share takes care of that problem (and related cost). I found uploading documents to the web portal quite easy, even for those of us who are, as the euphemism has it,  “more seasoned.”  I recommend using Exhibit Share for your next deposition.

Adapting to remote depositions and hearings has been challenging for everyone. Every reporting service has a ‘virtual’ option, but the Veritext Exhibit Share is far and away the best product on the market. No more screen sharing and battling for control to see who can move the pdf around the screen.

Exhibit Share allows the questioner to pre-load exhibits into a secure eyes-only folder and then ‘publish’ them to all counsel and the deponent. Each person then has their own virtual copy to review. I have used it for complex expert depositions and fact depositions. I will not conduct a virtual deposition without it.

Exhibit Share is really cool. I took the first trial in Alameda county, and it was hard for everyone to try new things. So exhibits were tricky, documents to be reviewed that weren’t marked were a challenge, and sending the binders of admitted exhibits to the jurors was even more difficult. But now everyone has fully embraced Exhibit Share. It’s so cool to hear the judge say “open the Veritext file.”

If I had a nickel for every time I heard the word “Veritext” in this trial!  It would be fun to do a word count at the end of the trial to find out. The Exhibit Share really works well, and it’s a dream for the reporter to finally have access to the documents in a trial. I’m a big fan of anything that makes my job easier.

I don’t think I’ve had a non-remote deposition go as smoothly as this remote deposition went today, certainly not any other remote one . . . The difference today was notable.

I’m kind of in love with Exhibit Share too, because when the witness decided to mention something during his deposition that wasn’t in his report but was in some file in his backup, we just uploaded that file and had it ready to discuss with him in no time.  I need to figure out how to make everyone use this when we got back to in person depositions. KUDOS to Veritext.

Exhibit Share is a solution for the ages.
