Veritext Reporters Bring Steno To High Schools in Florida
This March, court reporters Diane Roberts, Lisa Workman, and Beth Breese attended high school career fairs in Florida on behalf of Veritext to introduce the profession of court reporting to students.
For over six years Beth Breese joins Veritext at a local high school to introduce students to court reporting. This year, she hosted a table at Winter Park High School’s Career Fair, where she drew much attention with a live demonstration of capturing the record while sharing information on Project Steno’s Basic Training program, as well as the excellent benefits of choosing a career in court reporting.
Similarly, Diana Roberts and Lisa Workman hosted a booth at Wekiva High School in Apopka FL, where they too captivated students through a live demonstration with a writer. Those who were interested were provided with information on Project Steno’s Basic Training program, specifics about being a stenographer, and the benefits of working with Veritext after graduation.
