PEGGY’S CARE STORY
Though I am not a huge popcorn fan, a local theater emailed a recent promotion announcing, “Curbside Movie Popcorn Pickup”. Ten percent of all the sales went to the Greater Twin Cities COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund arranged by the United Way, to help fight COVID-19 here in Minnesota. I supported this effort by purchasing a bag of popcorn and a gift certificate. According to the theater employee, about 200 people stopped by to support the funraiser at the location I visited. There are about 6-7 locations in total throughout the Twin Cities.
