On July 11th, Veritext held the first of many Fundraise for the Future events in Fort Lauderdale, FL – and what a great event it was!

We are excited to say that together with members of the court reporting and legal communities we raised over $6,000 for Project Steno, which includes a dollar-for-dollar match by Veritext!

100% of the proceeds will support Project Steno’s ongoing Tuition Assistance program and the expansion of its Cover Your Bases Program™, an innovative initiative designed to bring awareness of the court reporting profession to military spouses nationwide.

Guests enjoyed food, cocktails, raffle games and prizes, and the opportunity to gather, network and raise money for this great cause.

Veritext was pleased to welcome Rick Levy, Advisory Council member for Project Steno and former president of the Florida Court Reporters Association (FCRA), who spoke to guests about Project Steno and the importance of increasing awareness of the court reporting profession.
