DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

At Veritext, we believe that diverse perspectives and inclusive collaboration yield exponential value for our clients, independent contractors, and employees.   We’re passionate about this belief and are committed to strengthening our organization and the communities we serve by cultivating an environment that celebrates and values all individuals and their unique perspectives, needs, and potential.

Veritext has joined a group called CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion, which is a global collaborative of over 2,000 CEOs from the world’s leading companies and organizations, who have pledged to take action to cultivate a workplace environment where diverse experiences and perspectives are welcomed and where employees feel comfortable and empowered.

We recognize that diversity and inclusion are multifaceted issues and that we need to tackle these subjects holistically to better engage and support all underrepresented groups within our business. Recent events that have highlighted acts of injustice have only strengthened our resolve to prioritize our diversity and inclusion initiatives. To do this, we also need to address honestly and head-on the concerns and needs of our employees and increase equity for all, including African American, Indigenous, and people of color, LGBTQ+, disabled, neurodiverse, veterans, and women.

To begin this journey, Veritext has committed to the following actions:

  1. To continue to cultivate an environment which supports open dialogue on complex, and sometimes difficult, conversations
  2. To continue to make unconscious bias-education available to everyone at Veritext
  3. To share best-known programs and initiatives — as well as those that have been unsuccessful
  4. And to create and share strategic plans with our stakeholders as a way to prioritize diversity and inclusion and drive accountability in our organization.

We acknowledge these actions are not the complete answer to addressing diversity in the workplace, but we believe the CEO Pledge for Action and our initiatives are steps forward.  Our leadership team is committed to learning, improving and supporting you as we collectively become a stronger organization because of this focus.

Together with our independent contractor partners, our clients, and the broader legal community, we can continue to strengthen our existing programs and commitments to cultivate meaningful change for our society.
