On July 20th, Veritext held it’s second Fundraise for the Future event in Los Angeles, CA – and what an incredible event it was!

We are excited to say that together with members of the court reporting and legal communities we raised over $11,000 for Project Steno, which includes a dollar-for-dollar match by Veritext!

Combined with the $6,000 raised in Florida, this brings us to a grand total of $17,000 raised through our Fundraise for the Future events!

100% of the proceeds will support Project Steno’s ongoing Tuition Assistance program and the expansion of its Cover Your Bases Program™, an innovative initiative designed to bring awareness of the court reporting profession to military spouses nationwide.

Guests enjoyed beer tours, food, cocktails, raffle games and prizes, and the opportunity to gather, network and raise money for this great cause.

Veritext was pleased to welcome Renee Bush, Advisory Council member for Project Steno and principal of Aiken Welch, A Veritext Company, who spoke to guests about Project Steno and the importance of increasing awareness of the court reporting profession.
