Veritext is pleased to announce its 2022 Anoka Technical College steno scholarship recipients.  Each student received a $1000 scholarship.

“Both Veritext scholars excel academically and are highly committed and dedicated students who strongly desired to do well in the profession of court reporting,” said Jennifer Sati, RMR, CRR, CRC, CRI, Chair of the scholarship selection committee.

The Veritext steno scholarships are awarded annually by a selection committee at the college, which is  located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Meghan Felien is currently in her 160s.  In response to learning she was a Veritext scholarship winner, Meghan said, “This scholarship is the extra boost of motivation and encouragement I needed to keep myself on track to graduate as soon as possible.  I hope to return the favor to a future student like myself.  ‘Thank you’ doesn’t seem to be enough, but I just want you to know how appreciative I am for your generous contribution to the court reporting community.”

Alyssa Vankempen, a 180 WPM student at Anoka Tech, shared that she is “incredibly appreciative and grateful to Veritext for helping me with my expenses as I enroll in my final semester of the judicial reporting program.  It is heartwarming to witness the outpouring of support that working reporters and professionals give back to us students.”
