Rich Antoneck
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer of Veritext, Rich is responsible for the management and direction of our court reporting business. Rich works closely with our Executive team and Regional Vice Presidents focusing on the growth and optimization of the business. As CEO, Rich ensures Veritext is an industry-leading premier provider of tech-enabled legal services.
Rich joined Veritext in 2011 and brings a deep history of financial leadership and experience, particularly in working with companies owned by private equity firms. Prior to joining Veritext, Rich served eight years as the CFO for Accuity Solutions and SourceMedia; both portfolio companies of private equity firm, Investcorp International. Prior to working as a CFO of private equity companies, Rich spent eight years in senior financial roles at the Thomson Corporation. Rich holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Finance, both from St. John’s University, and is a CPA in the State of New York.
Joseph Baker
Chief Operating Officer
Joe is responsible for maximizing operational performance at Veritext, while driving improvements across broad workstreams that encompass people, process, and technology.
Joe is a seasoned operating veteran having led large scale businesses in various industries. Prior to joining Veritext, Joe was Chief Operating Officer and SVP of Business Development for National Express LLC., a $1 billion provider of people transportation solutions, where he helped optimize and grow the transit business. Joe also spent nearly a decade with Hertz Inc. in both project management and operational capacities, most recently as Vice President of Operations.
Joe is a certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Widener University and an MBA from Villanova University.
Tony Donofrio
Chief Technology Officer
Tony leads the development, delivery, and support of mission critical systems used in testimonial evidence management. His focus is to ensure that clients, partners and Veritext staff have the very best experience with easy to use, highly reliable and highly secure tools to coordinate, capture, and manage legal testimony and related content. Tony and the entire Veritext community have been deeply involved in technology and industry initiatives to expand and ensure access to justice in the United States and Canada by supporting educational programs and developing tools for a growing community of reporters, transcriptionists, and other allied professionals.
Tony has worked in information technology for over 35 years, focusing on software product development, technology infrastructure, operations, and data analytics. He has worked extensively in the scientific and healthcare arena, having developed clinical laboratory information systems and infrastructure services for Corning Life Sciences, and analytic product development and operations at Thomson Reuters Healthcare and Truven Health Analytics. He also has experience in the banking and financial industries.
Tony has served as Chief Technology Officer for Veritext Legal Solutions since September 2015. Just prior to Veritext, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Truven Health Analytics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University.
Janel O’Connor
Chief People Officer
As CPO Janel is responsible for all aspects of Veritext’s human resources strategy, including talent management and leadership development, driving culture, employee engagement and rewards across the U.S. and Canada. She works closely with the Veritext management team to ensure we continue to build a culture that attracts, retains, and develops our talent.
Prior to Veritext, Janel was the Chief Human Resource Officer for Sikich LLP, a rapidly growing national professional services firm with 1100+ professionals focusing in areas of technology ERP consulting, Salesforce, managed services, cybersecurity, accounting and advisory services.
Janel holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Resources Management from Northern Illinois University and a Masters in Human Resources Management from DeVry University. She is a designated Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Jacob Mathai
Chief Information Officer
Jacob is responsible for the reliability, resiliency, scalability, and security of the various systems powering all Veritext products and tools used everyday by staff and clients.
Jacob has worked in information technology for over 30 years – focusing on infrastructure, cybersecurity, support, and IT operations. Joining Veritext almost from our very start, he has played a key role in the growth of our industry-leading technology solutions. Just prior to joining Veritext, Jacob was a consultant working with clients in the Legal, Finance, and Reinsurance industries and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter College (CUNY).
Harsha Tank
Chief Financial Officer
Harsha brings her strategic perspective and experience in working with private equity backed companies to the business as we continue to drive innovation and scale at Veritext. Harsha joins Veritext after having served as CFO of North America Corporate Services at Sodexo, a global leader in food and facilities management for the last 11 years.
Prior to Sodexo, Harsha held numerous senior financial executive roles at Intralinks, Fiserv and Jazz Technologies. Harsha is a CPA and obtained her Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from Mumbai University.
Adam Koetter
Senior Vice President, Commercial Initiatives
Adam is responsible for working across teams to better understand market dynamics and drive revenue growth through optimized product, pricing, and technology strategies.
Adam joined Veritext in 2015 through the acquisition of an Atlanta based Court Reporting firm. In his roles with Veritext, Adam has been integral in the growth of the Southeast market as well as many of our national initiatives. In his most recent role as Regional Vice President, Adam focused on the growth, optimization, and overall client experience for the Southeast region, constantly looking to ensure an impeccable client experience through process, people, and innovation.
Prior to joining the Court Reporting industry, Adam held numerous operations and technology roles across various industries. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with Certificates in Marketing, Finance and Operations from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Mercer University.
Judith L. Kunreuther, Esq.
General Counsel
As General Counsel, Judy is responsible for all aspects of Veritext’s legal matters, including contract review, acquisitions, insurance, subpoena responses and managing our real estate portfolio. She is also responsible for keeping up to date on all rules and regulations affecting the court reporting industry and is involved in our lobbying efforts to make sure rules and regulations keep up with technological advancements.
Judy joined Veritext in July 2010 as the first in-house attorney. Prior to joining Veritext, Judy worked for large and small law firms in NYC and New Jersey and was Associate General Counsel at EMCOR Group, a multi-billion-dollar public company headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut, for ten years.
Judy is a summa cum laude graduate of Cornell University (B.A. Economics) and has a law degree from The National Law Center at George Washington University (Order of the Coif). She is a member of both the New York and New Jersey bars.
Adam Friend
Executive Vice President, Business Development
Adam helps ensure that Veritext is constantly evaluating new opportunities, allowing us to maintain our position as the industry leader via acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and new markets.
Adam joined Veritext in 2011. Prior to joining Veritext, Adam was Senior Associate at the Riverside Company, a middle market private equity firm, where he led investments in growing medium-sized businesses in a variety of industries, and helped those businesses grow through strategic guidance, acquisition support, and additional capital. Veritext was one of his portfolio companies at Riverside, and he worked with the Veritext management team on many of the company’s acquisitions during that time. Prior to Riverside, Adam worked for an early stage venture capital firm in Madrid, Spain, and spent five years as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an AB in Economics from Duke University.
Dean Witkin
Executive Vice President, Sales
Dean is responsible for driving revenue growth across Veritext, by building and leading the highest performing sales team in the industry and bringing innovative solutions to our clients.
Dean has an outstanding track record of achieving performance goals and building successful sales leaders and teams. Prior to joining Veritext in November 2017, Dean was Senior VP of Sales for Valassis, Inc., a provider of integrated marketing solutions. He was responsible for managing and developing a sales team of more than 250 people, in four regional offices, all of whom were focused on driving profitable revenue through organic growth and new business development. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Utah.
