Even as the world starts to reopen to varying degrees, many legal proceedings remain virtual because attorneys have realized the advantages they offer.
Whether it is the time they save from not having to travel for depositions or the ability to depose witnesses more easily in very remote areas, most attorneys agree that the future of litigation will include some percentage of virtual proceedings. In fact, in a recent survey, 83% of legal professionals said that they expect at least one party in every proceeding to be remote, even after the pandemic.
